Upper Hand Tattoo Studio was opened by long time tattooer Dave Marcotte in 2016, 6 years after opening our sister studio Iron Lotus. While both studios are dedicated to quality and providing clients with the best possible tattoo experience, Upper Hand pays homage to the history of tattooing with a more traditional feel and casual environment. We feel that the combined level of experience, range in art style, and dedication to quality among our artists certainly gives us the upper hand in Charleston’s ever growing tattoo community.
